7.19 Every Picture Tells a Story Reaction

Whoo Hoo!! Tonight felt so great. It’s been too long since I live-blogged an episode of One Tree Hill but it’s back!
Here’s my take:
- While I like feisty Brooke, I also liked the Brooke we saw tonight. Commanding yet compassionate. I’m glad she’s happy and her and Julian seem like they’re on a good path. Hopefully there’s nothing around the corner!
- The sex tape. So at the end and at the previews we find out Josh IS behind the whole deal but apparently it’s spiraled out of control. And apparently Josh is gay?? What the heck is going on? Did he want it leaked so everyone wouldn’t know he was gay?
- TMI with Victoria and Alexander. I think I’m over that. If they try to make their relationship serious, I may seriously throw up. Little gag reflex with the big reveal. Didn’t you love Brooke’s reaction when the curtain came down?
- Nathan is always super cute as a doting father but I wasn’t a big fan of the Kiss moment. But I don’t want to dwell on that because the shaving and reading moments were really cute. Speaking of Nathan as a father, it simply melted my little heart when Nathan told Haley he wanted another baby!! Super squeeee!!!! A Naley baby!
- Let’s talk about Haley. My heart broke for her when she went into the ugly cry at the pool. While it was the “ugly cry” it wasn’t ugly. It was a beautiful ugly cry. Does that make sense? In other words, Haley acted her butt off. I simply can not imagine losing my mother and whatever dark period she goes through, I don’t hold it against her for one second. Bless her heart.
- While I feel bad for Skills, I’m all Team Mouth and I just hope Skills and Mouth can make up eventually.
- Katie. Psycho Nanny 2.0 or is it Psycho Derek 3.0? She’s lost her mind. I’d really just like her arrested already somehow and kicked out of Tree Hill but it looks like we’re going to have to ride another psycho out. I hope we survive!
- Finally I fully enjoyed Quinn. She looked smoking hot tonight and I loved that she had to do. I like happy Quinn!
Overall I felt like this was a solid episode, probably one of my favorites of Season 7.

It was boring and really slow. Didn’t like it.
Did anyone else think that Julian has a big love type situation with Brooke and Alex? That moment while he was hugging Alex and he and Brooke were smiling at each other. So weird, like a creepy threesome was about to happen. I still would like to see Julian shoulder some of the blame for the breakup but I’m glad they’re back!

I think Haley is totally pregnant and is lying to Nathan because she doesn’t want the baby without her mom. =[=[=[ You can tell she’s lying, the look on her face!!!!
Although I thought the episode was good, I wouldn’t call it one of the best and I was actually disappointed. For such a long break, I expected more.
I mean let’s face it, Carrie 2.0 is a big yawn. We already had out fill of phycho posers and stalkers, we don’t need another one. And all this for what, so we can see more of Clay and Quinn, they have as much chemistry together as two rocks. People might see something in them but im not one of them and I think they are actually hurting the show and this stupid storyline as well. Also, why so much time on Grubbs and Miranda, seriously, who cares? OTH has a problem this season of taking back seat characters and making them out as main cast members. Honestly, I could care less for Grubb’s record or Miranda’s visa. And Chase? Does Mark have a crush on him or something cuz season 4 was over a looong time ago.
All that aside, there were things I liked. Finally nice to see normal Brooke not overly jealous brooke, although the brulian at the end was a bit much, I would’ve cut the scene down a little bit. Loved that the characters were actually all together and interacting although I would’ve liked a longer Baley scene. I mean finding out that Brooke cant have kids deserved more than twenty seconds. I don’t know if it’s suppose to be dramatic or funny but I was amused by the whole mouth/skills storyline as well as Victoria and Alex. The sex tape thing was a big yawn until the end and the previews.
Again could’ve done without the stupid KISS scene but loved loved the rest of the Nathan/Jamie moments. The shaving scene was the best and I loved all the brother talk and the references to the past, I had season 1 flash through my eyes and it made me miss lucas so much. Likewise, I loved it when Nathan said that Jamie will have to wait to be 22 to shave lol. Loved that we’re finally talking about naley baby #2, when haley took the pregnancy test, I was like YESSS FINALLY .. and I loved how Nathan talked about having another child but Haley breaking down at the end, I’m assuming that’s because of her mom right?
sorry, have to disagree with the reading bit. while it was nice to see a father reading to his son, what father would read their seven-year-old lord of the flies??? maybe it’s something small to nitpick but no way a kid that young should be reading that dark, dark book. it really bothered me. and i know it was lord of the flies because i’ve read it a zillion times and know that ending from anywhere and there aren’t many characters named piggy in books that people felt bad for. he was murdered pretty brutally so it stood out to me.
Were we watching the same show? I couldn’t disagree more!
That episode was so sloppy. Like it had potential to be drama filled but it was such a dissapointment. Like everything buliding up then nothing! Like 3 2 1 blast o– no nevermind. It was so utterly ridiculous and pointless. Like the Nathan-Jamie dancing/singing stuff is so played out! New material please! And did it have to take so long? God almighty Christ! And why are they giving these pointless backround characters story lines that aren’t just a cosign to the core characters? I’m sorry Miranda but honestly I couldn’t care less if you’re being deported…
And Haley? Zzzzzzz…
They’re going to drag this whole depressed death thing out and it’s sad and all..but really..who cares??
I personally liked Haley having no screen time and no story lines. Sorry.
This episode was just unbearable! And Haley? Pregnant? Really? Why not make Quinn pregnant while you’re at at! Everybody but Brooke huh?
Who are all these people?? Katie. Her friend. Sleazy gay actor porn dude… What is the freaking point of all these people?? Seriously we couldn’t keep Sam around an episode more?

Brooke/Brooke & Julian SAVED this episode! That’s all I gotta say.
And my annoyance kicked in to overdrive when hey end the show with haley’s wolf cries. Please. Over acting at it’s finest. Unbelievable. Just didn’t feel real at all to me.
Victoria and Alexander?…?????? Spare me.
After that episode my faith in oth died. Unnecessary characters taking away precious screen time. The best character hands down left on the show can’t even have what she always wanted.
The sooner it ends, the better.
Overall I thought it was a solid return for OTH.
Naley- I adore them and next to Brooke they are my favorite on the show and they rank as my all time favorite couple on TV. I think I wouldn’t mind another Naley baby but on the other hand, I’m really trying not to be bitter about it as a Brooke fan as I feel it is a slap in the face.
Alex/Josh- So I didn;t want to slap her tonight, that should be a sign of good things to come. LOL I don’t care about the sex tape.
Alexander/Victoria= TMI, gross.
Clay/Quinn/Katie- Snoozefest, could be that I am sick of the stalker thing for OTH it’s been done twice before. I don’t think a third time is really needed, bleh. I still cannot stand Quinn in any capacity, bleh.
Mrianda/Grubbs- A marriage proposal really? WTF
Skkills/Mouth/Lauren- I am certain that OTH has ruined Mouth for me, he is suddenly in love with Lauren and over Millie. Dating his friends ex, he used to be a good guy I miss him. Skills, I fetl sorry for him. Overall, I like Lauren but I liked her with Skills the best.
Brooke/Julian- I’m happy they are together, but I was hoping for something better than another ‘I love you’ speech again from Julian. Apparently Brooke cannot have the two thing she desires most on the show in a family and a baby. Clearly a wedding proposal has to be wasted on Miranda/Grubs over Brulian of all people. I’m trying really hard not to be bitter about Naley having another kid, while Brooke gets left to be barren.
Not the best OTH ever, but it wasn’t horrible.

and lauren who cares about haleys storyline? try about almost all the fans. this a long time coming and joy is an amazing actress so i dont know what you were watching.
I totally forgot to comment about Miranda and Grubbs. That went WAY too fast! Wow. Both with the marriage proposal and Miranda’s disappearance.
eh, I thought this episode was fair overall.
Anytime I get to see Alexander shirtless, the episode is going to be fairly decent. I am thinking he may have the best body that has ever called Tree Hill home.
Annnyway, not to nit pick, but there is NO WAY IN HELL that Haley (the wife of a professional basketball player and owner of a 47 bedroom mansion) would accept a check from her sister who is just starting up a new business, getting her life back on track , etc. NO WAY.
Other than that I thought the episode was decent. Still have the same 12 complaints as Zap2it made earlier, but I guess it was okay for what the show has become.
I agree with everyone that says the stalker storylines are rehashed and old, blah blah.. but at least they are giving us SOME DRAMA.. I mean for the most part this season has been a complete snoozefest… at least we do have the potential for a little drama now.
Anyone know where Deb is? Anyone seen Dan lately? Please Please Please I beg of you mark schwan if there is a season 8, let nathan come back and coach the ravens and lets get back to some high school scenes and things like that… we need some drama.

it could have gone great without all these cramped up secondary characters but ahh well it’s nothing new for the show!
Nathan/Jamie..nate is such a good guy, I enjoyed him babysitting his son, minus the disturbing rockband thing lol! But yeah it was nice. And Naley wanting to have another baby aww so happy that haley told him about the pregnancy test.
Haley..i was so sad for her throughout the whole episode, she was trying to hide her emotions and I was waiting for her to crack and she did at the end and it was so heart breaking. Joy is a great actress and has such expressive eyes, she can portray a lot with them without saying a thing. I’m sure I’ll be enjoying her storyline line.
Brulian.. happy they’re back together and supporting each other.
I loved the Baley scene about the children but daymn it was way too short! I want more baley heart to heart talk!
Quinn.. happy Quinn is so much better than teary eyed Quinn. And I loved that she showed her appreciation to her sister. I’m warming up to Quinn.
Vicroria/Alexander..elgh! too damn much! But I laughed when she shoves Mouth’s foot and go all “scandalous” after being busted lol!
Sex tape, skills/mouth/lauren, grubs/Miranda (so predictable BTW) and the new tree hill psycho…not interested, thank you!
I don’t think she’s lying. She had a glass of champagne in her hand and she was about to drink it. No one there knew she might be pregnant, so if she was, why have it in her hand in the first place? Another thing, if she was pregnant, she wouldn’t go this deep into depression. Not to mention the fact that at the end when she breaks down, I think it partly has to do with the fact that the test turned out negative and Nathan had just said “let’s have another baby.” Did you see how she looked at him before she went out? She probably feels like she let him down somehow. So no, I don’t believe she’s hiding anything. I do believe, that with all the foreshadowing in this episode (the brothers thing when they were shaving, the sisters picture, Nathan asking Jamie if he gets lonely) that Haley will get pregnant before the end of the season and that’s how their life will change.
I’m sorry Lauren, but I can’t believe you said who cares about Haley. She was basically the only thing I thoroughly paid attention to tonight. For once she has a storyline and it’s a gooder. And that was so not overacting. It was acting at it’s finest.I think hers might be the storyline that plays a big part in saving the series. But, that’s your opinion and your entitled to it.
Okay, so overall, it was pretty good. Not the best episode of the season (that goes to one of the earlier ones with that woman lying about sleeping with Nathan.) I can see a lot of good episodes coming up. The three things I wasn’t happy about is the whole Alexander/Victoria thing, Grubbs/Miranda and the Kiss scene (I couldn’t watch it! It was just cringe worthy. I did love their other scenes. The Lord of the Flies thing was.. well.. do remember this is Haley’s kid so of course he’s going to be reading those types of books.. so I’ll let that slide.
Brulian was cute tonight! I loved them again. And did you notice that they finally mentioned Brooke’s inability to have children? I was afraid they would forget that just like they forgot that Quinn, Taylor and Lydia were not at Haley’s graduation and that Haley has another sister named Vivian and 2-3 brothers. Sorry, I’m still mad about that.
Kellyz – it might feel like a slap in the face, but remember that they’ve implied over the years of another Naley baby. It was always supposed to be a little girl who looked just like Haley and a boy with Nathan’s eyes. However, the marriage proposal between Grubbs and Miranda (even though it was more to keep Miranda in Tree Hill.) is a slap in the face.
So is Millie just gone now? Are you serious? We’ll see Chase in the finale but not Millie? I loved Millie..
Oh well.
Josh is gay. Interesting. No wonder he sucks at sex. Haha!

I know they’ve mentioned it for years, it just feels like a slap as a Brooke fan. Haley and Nathan can get married and have a baby. Peyton can get married and have a baby. Yet Brooke is always denied both of those, I like that Brooke is happy, it’s just really hard not to be bitter about Brooke once again not getting the two things she has always wanted, as a Brooke fan.

Just because Brooke can’t get pregnant doesn’t mean that she can’t have a child with Julian. I personally think adoption would be much more satisfying for someone like Brooke, Brooke is always saving people, adoption makes perfect sense for her and Julian. As for Nathan and Haley, I definitely want to see another Naley baby *squee* Naley are the best thing on this show and I believe they are a huge part in keeping the show in the air for as long as it has been on!! Bitterness is a very ugly emotion. It’s ok for you to have an opinion, but to go on about Joy’s performance…. well that is just jealousy at it’s worse.

I really like the episode tonight. It wasn’t the best of this season. but it was still pretty good. Brulian scenes were great and Brooke not acting jealous was nice to see. The Nathan/Jamie scenes were nice and I think the whole point of the scenes was to show how Nathan is a super Dad and husband, unlike how Dan was to him and Deb when Nathan was growing up. Clay and Quinn were great together and Quinn looked gorgeous in that dress and I agree that she is much better happy. As for Haley, she will rock this depression storyline and Joy’s acting was superb.
As for that earlier comment about Haley’s storyline, it is real and it is how people deal with grief.
omg this was so boring. proving that there really is no OTH without Peyton and Lucas. i thought i would be sad when it ended but after tonight’s episode i am starting to doubt it.
I personally LOVED this episode. I am a huge Naley so loved their parts. I like the Jamie/Nathan relationship I just wish the episode had more interaction between Naley. I really like how they dealt with Haley’s depression during the episode. They didn’t just all of a sudden throw it at you. She didn’t just immediately go off the deep end. Throughout the whole episode she looked like she was about to break down in tears but managed to keep it together until the very end of the episode. I agree with Amy that Haley did the “ugly” cry beautifully. People from the show keep says Joy performed beautifully in these last few episodes and based on tonight they are right. I was really looking forward to seeing the Haley depression storyline and seeing Nathan come to the rescue but I am glad that they didn’t just dump it all at once on us. Can’t wait till next week though!
The rest of the episode was good too. Some storylines I like while others I didn’t. I like that the episode brought most of the people together under one roof. My only negative comment is that I feel like there were SO many different storylines all going at once that it didn’t give any one storyline time to develop. Other than that I think a solid return!
@Danika..i so agree with you about the Naley/pregnancy and the Haley SL part. Haley getting a great heartfelt story line was long over due it’s about time for Joy to showcase her acting talents.
I was a little let down with the show tonight. It focused so much on all the secondary characters. Haley, Nathan, and Brooke are the core characters and storylines should revolve around them.
I personally felt Haley saved the episode. Joy can freakin nail every storyline given to her, no matter how lame it is, and it’s nice to see her FINALLY getting a storyline where she can really shine.
The Nathan and Jamie scenes were okay. The shaving scene was adorable, but the guitar hero scene was just lame.
Brooke and Julian KILL THIS SHOW. Seriously, their “relationship” has no substance. We went from having them shoved down our throats at the beginning of the season, to them being mad, then now back to being shoved down our throats again. I just find them to be boring and annoying.
I loved Nathan being all happy about wanting another kid. I’m wondering if Haley is really pregnant. Maybe that is what is making her so upset. That scene at the end was beautiful but so sad at the same time. I’m really excited to see where this storyline goes.

I really do felt like Brulian was being stuffed in our faces, again. I mean it started last season when they just started dated and bam, Julian proclaims their love and they treat the couple as the next naley. they’re not and im wondering if the writers did that before sophia and austin break up and they cant use that couple again lol, i tease of course. but i have to agree that the chemistry between them has tempered somewhat.
id actually like to see some shake up and maybe have a clay/brooke hook up. zap2it got it right for hte most part, the love stories are so predictable and let’s face it, naley will never break up so we need another outlet. plus i like clay, quinn not so much.
also, what’s up with this whole slap in the face to brooke about haley getting pregnant. it’s not her fault brooke cant have kids, nor peyton’s. the writer’s choose that for brooke and im sorry but i haven’t seen brooke talk to a specialist or anything.
but yes i am ready for baby naley #2 and maybe some scenes showing how

I’ve watched since Season 4 for Brooke to get her happy ending, marriage and kids in tact, she and Julian adopt great. I don’t see Mark doing that, as a rule of thumb over my years of OTH viewing experience Brooke is never allowed to be happy. Peyton and Haley both had their miracle pregnancies. So I don’t see why Brooke can’t.
It’s hard for me to jump for joy at Nathan and Haley getting another kid when Brooke isn’t allowed too. I’m a Naley fan don’t get me wrong, but they have a kid Jamie. The only one who doesn’t have a happy ending after season 1 so far is Brooke.

OMG NALEY !!! i actually screamed when i saw haley at the beginning with a pregnancy test ! i thought my dreams were coming true lol ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME that we at least have a mention of another naley baby. that just made my life. and haley at the end running outside and crying was sooo sad i wanted to cry with her. nathan and jamie scenes were too adorable. i loved all of their scenes especially at the end when nathan told jamie to look out for his mom and not let her get too sad. i loved that. the scott family makes me fall even more in love with them every episode.
p.s. what is it with oth and these insane people?!!! but im glad clay told quinn and she actually knows about it instead of no one knowing the person is crazy like they did with derek and nanny carrie. good episode i enjoyed it
brooke has a movie producer boyfriend who she’ll probably end up marrying before the series ends, her own highly sucessful clothing line, magazine and reconciliation with her mom .. not to mention helping out baby angie and sam.. im sorry but brooke seems to have done pretty fine in my opinion.
to say thats haley and peyton have their happy ending is a bit unfair, each character is different and has their own struggles. im sure peyton would to get to know her moms (yes mom #1 and #2) and haley lost both her parents and has to deal with nathan traveling half the year. every character is different and if it was’t meant for brookes to have biological children on her own then so be it, but to say brooke doesnt have her happy ending i wouldn’t say that. brooke has already done so much, sure you might have it all but who does

to OTHgilmore4life-naleybaby, the only redeeming quality about that whole phycho sara storyline was that clay told quinn. other than that, i feel that storyline will be very predictable and at the end show how clay can move on from his dead wife, like he needed a pyscho tennis player to do that. and yes i just about screamed too when haley got the pregnancy test

I’l go ahead and agree to disagree with you on if Brooke has gotten her happy ending or not. Pretty much every season since season 5, she has been stepped over. Brooke was attacked, she had to give Angie back, she had to give Sam back to her birth mother. Brooke has had to deal with another triangle pretty much most of this season and her boyfriend being a wishy washy mixed signals moron to his co-worker but I digress.
I highly doubt Mark will have Brooke get married at the end of the season. I believe that he once called her the new Karen of OTH, knowing my luck it’ll be Quinn/Clay or Grubbs/Miranda.
No character is every fully completely happy in OTH world, but all the main leads have gotten a wedding and a kid, but Brooke. I’ll probably feel different about it later, or maybe even next week but right now I’m not.

I can relate to Haley’s struggle with her mother’s death. I too am the youngest and lost my mother last year. Sometimes its hard to fathom her not picking up the phone. Or realizing that she wont see her granddaughter graduate. I have to catch myself and live it one day at a time. I waited to have my mini breakdown in the shower, so I can definitely relate. But not so much with the rest of the story lines. Joy has really out done herself and in doing so has made everyone around her better.
This episode was all about Haley for me. She was awesome.
Also loved Brulian, Mouth and Lauren, Skills and Lauren, VICTORIA (ha!).
Eh – Quinn, Clay, Miranda, Grubbs. Eh.
Loved the KISS Guitar Hero scene.
Hate Brulian. No emotion. Someone is mailing in their performance. Watch Sophia in her scenes with Lucas, or Felix, or any other guy… (reruns on soapnet help, or your dvd box sets) then watch her with Julian. Yawn. It’s so forced and boring. I can’t even watch. I flipped channels and Brooke used to be my favorite female character up until the middle of season 4. I hope her pilot on ABC takes off and she gets on with a real show on a real network finally.
I have to go back and rewatch tonights episode because I missed parts changing the channel when Brooke and Julian had scenes and when I came back to OTH another scene was halfway finished.
I love brulian and I hope that sometime she’ll get to call him husband and not boyfriend
Love baley but the scene was to short – I mean they are talking about the death of Haley’s mother and about Brooke not able to have kids and we get 20 seconds???
And I’m Brooke fan all the way but it doesn’t bother me if Haley is pregnant – I think that it would be cool if naley will have a baby and then brulian (miracle baby or adopting).
Naley – they are amazing. Nathan and Jaime scenes were cute – who knew Nathan is such a good makeup artist
And Haley – Joy is going to rock the next episodes… this going to be intense and good acting.
All of the others stories – couldn’t care less – especially Grubbs and Miranda – I would prefer baley scenes or naley together…
Finally brulian is back the way they should be!!! Their scenes were just perfect tonight!!! Loved them. They made this episode.
Joy was incredible in her last scene and I think she feels as if she has disappointed Nathan and her mother by not being pregnant. She is not fulfilling her mothers last dying wish and is putting lots of pressure on herself. I think we will start to see Haley crumble because she will feel that she isn’t the super mom, wife and daughter that everyone puts her on the pedestal for especially without her moms guidance and support. This is the only real intriguing story line.
Also I hope they focus on Brooke and Julians journey to have a baby instead of Julian helping Alex out with her sex tape scandal.
All the other story lines were a waste of time and screen time. More time could have been given to The Naley’s and Brooke and Julian.
I just want to add that why are people taking it so personal and like a slap in the face if Brooke doesn’t get her wedding and happy ending. Not everyones life is cookie cutter and everyone has their own issues and burdens in life. She is happy with Julian and they will find a way to make a family of their own some how. That is a true interpretation of life. Not all friends are always on the same page at the same time it doesn’t mean that their life isn’t good if they don’t have what their friends have. Geez!

If there’s a s8 i want to see both Brooke & Haley pregnant at the same time.
I feel that Brooke got nothing this season, she had 2 episodes of sterility issues but beside that, nothing. I’m glad that Haley has a lot to work with this season, i just wish they could both have stuff at the same time.
If there’s a s8, OTH needs to lose Grubbs/Miranda/Chase/Alexander ect…

here’s what I think .. Okay I’m glad brulian are back but when they were laying in bed together he said something about nothing ruining that’s tv drama code for something will go wrong so I’m nervous
Katie Ryan will be a physco all on her own I think she will be worse than Derek and Carrie combined ., there was an interview with Robert Buckley and he said she was cukoo on coco puffs I’m thinking she is goin to do something extreme
Victoria and Alexander wow may to much info I wish her lover was Dan personally that would be amazing
Miranda and Grubbs are moving to fast she should say no and get her butt on a plane back to England ., when Haley gets out of depression she can finish his record
The Nathan/Jaime scenes were so cute except the rockband that was creepy they should have done karoke instead taken the parachute pants Quinn apparently bought for Nathan/Clay and go MC Hammer on our butts now that would have been awEsome
Nathan had cute lines like it took more than a clean shave to get your mom .. Loved Nathan this episode but I think he needs to have adult interaction but his time is coming

Julian and Brooke have been apart for weeks when did she have time to get pregnant .. I believe she will have a miracle child or adopt the season is not over so hold on

I 10000% loveddd this episodeee & every second tht haley was in it I was dyingggg. First I screamed SOOOOO loud wen I saw tht pregnancy testtt. I want a another naley bby so badd. Then wen she was at the gallery, I loved the baley moment yea it was short but it was so sweet. I felt so badddd wen haley got back & she said tht the test was neg. I’m s torn wt this..I cnt decided weather I think she’s lying bcus she feels bad for brooke & she doesn’t wanna have another bby wt out her mother or if she’s really not pregnant & she feels like she let her mother down, nathan down and jamie. I think I’m leaning more towards tht one tho. Like she’s not the perfect mother daughter sister person tht everyone makes her up to be. But I loveeeee joy actinggg. I can not get ovrr it . She killled every scene she didd & deff made tonights episode. I can’t wait to seee what happens! Joy has always been my favorite & she is jus proving every second wen she’s on screen tht she is the best. Tht last scene wen she’s crying by the pool broke my heartt. This episode was extremely boring. Only thing I liked were Brooke/Julian scenes and Haley. I still wonder why writers think we care about Miranda,Grubbs,Alexander,Alex etc. They should all support core,not other way around.

Not awful but a lot of pointless times and characters. Miranda and Grubbs….get out of here. They are boring, pointless and just there to fill in space. I dont like them one bit. They could have thought of a better way to take over Peytons record label. Chase, he is over. Without Mia he is a waste of time too. Find something else to do please. The only sotry line I wouldnt mind going for a few episodes is Katie the Clay stalker. We havent seen all that much with him and he is a good addition to the show along with Quinn as long as she stays interesting. Team Mouth all the way…Skills lost his chance but I still like him! Alex girl and Alex boy….goodbye please, nothing interesting about you anymore.

I like the show. I like quinn and Clay and I was glad too see Quinn Happy. Get rid psycho Katie already. Love Naley as always. Loved Brooke glad she is back to her old self.

Thanks for the observation. I rant about Millie’s disappearance on a weekly basis. I am totally put off by another best friend love triangle. Once again the writers sprinkle fairy dust and trivialize romantic relationships that span two years, but we don’t get the convenience of a time jump to cushion the blow. I dare say this is worse than the demise of Brucas. At least then we got to witness Brooke’s emotions, she didn’t go off into la la land. I know they aren’t core characters, but they’ve only been in love and dating for the past two seasons. WTF?! And I’m sorry, Lauren can disappear for all I care. As a matter of fact, maybe she’ll get distraught with coming between two friends and leave town. I’ll take the Skills/Mouth friendship over Lauren/Mouth pairing anyday.
This episode it kinda hit me. The old OTH feeling is gone. It used be about few people, that we got to know very well, kind of became “friends” with. Watching their every day lives and relationships between each one of them. Now we are just being fed with not very intriguing storylines about characters we have no connections to. Crazy psychos? Ok, I bet that happened to a lot of girls. But a stalker that looks exactly the same as the ex-wife? That is just too Days of our lives. I don’t want the show to end, just for them to try to get the “homey” feel to it again. They could cut Alexander, Katie, Josh, Miranda, Grubbs, Quinn, David, Owen and it wouldn’t hurt the show a little bit. You need Haley to have a sister suddenly? Let it be Taylor, she has so much more potential. Seriously, listening to: “I love you, you’re the best sister; No, you’re the best sister; Ah, you’re the sweetest best sister, sorry i didn’t mention you once in the past 8 years” is just really boring. It’s cute once but every episode? Bring more of the drama and the comedy, that was so unique for this type of a show. The who loves who more is just not enough.
i think it was perfect how they let it be nathan that said he wanted another baby after he way he acted withthe first pregnancy just shows how he changed and grown in their relationship.

And you know what I remembered now? – in this episode Haley didn’t know that Brulian get back together but they both were in her mother’s funeral hugging etc and even if we didn’t saw it – they must have talked to one another… and I guess maybe if there were 1000 of people she wouldn’t notice there was just a few and it’s Haley – she would have notice that even if she was in the middle of escaping from a burning building…
okay, to all those people that said grubbs and miranda were moving to fast COMPLETELY missed the point of the proposal. its not that its a real i’m in love lets get married extra quick like lucas wanted to do with peyton, its a lets get married so you can be a US citizen so you can stay and we can work on this record together like you said you would. that just pissed me off that people attack the secondary characters like that and weren’t thinking about his reasons.
Nathan+Jamie- the nathan and jamie scenes were great. you have to remember that nathan is a cheesy and down to earth dad who suffered with dan as his. he wants his son to love him so he’s not afraid to be that way with jamie, resulting in KISS outfits. which were also hilarious. but they should totally leave the singing to haley. the shaving was great:) and as for the lord of the flies thing, he’s a kid, an accelerated kid, and i know my little bro is his age and loves that stuff.
naley- haley is prego. i just think she feels guilty and alone. tahts why she said the line we have kids to keep us company after our parents die or something like that. and as to why she lied to nate, i have no clue. but she NAILED the crying scene at the end. just fantastic. you could feel her building up, trying to stay happy. great.
and nathan was like, lets have a baby and she was just so not into it…i felt bad.
mouth/lauren/skills-i think this is a good fight for mouth and skills to have. best friends all need something to bring them together. i think skills isn’t gonna pull a brooke and hate mouth for ages, but i think those two needed some friction to help us remember how much these two have been trhough. but i’m totally team mouth. lauren skills just was sad.
clay/quinn/kookoo katie-SO HAPPY CLAY TOLD QUINN NOW THEY ALL KNOW SHES INSANe. i agree, crazyness has been done a little too many times, but hey, shes not from tree hill, so i guess theres psychos everywhere…note to self, avoid those.
BRULIAN-will be okay. enough said.
as for chase/victoria/all other minors-good. for chase haters, hey, the fact that he’s still around is amazing. you’d be throwing a fit if he came back alll jimmy edwards cause ppl forgot about him, so hop off his back.
all in all, not the best, but it was still a great episode.

I am also curious if haley really wants a baby right now, and if the test is really negative. I agree with others how she’s trying to hide her breakdowns from everyone because she’s expected to be the graceful, courageous one who is the rock, or the “glue” as her mom said. Everyone knows she’s sad, but I guess they don’t realize how depressed she really is. It could be either way that she feels like she’s letting her mom/nathan down by no pregnancy or she feels like she can’t handle one right now. I do also love Nathan wanting another baby and sibling for Jamie, and I get the feeling that he may want to do something other than the nba to be with his family. The episode was slow at times, and scenes that were short could have been longer & vice versa, but overall decent episode back from hiatus!
it’s funny how jamie is old enough for lord of the flies, but not enough for reading it himself
so glad we missed out on some serious haley depressed quality acting from joy to spend more time watching yet another psycho stalker storyline and yet another oh-so-shocking older character on the show dating younger character revelation (deb/skills, brooke/teacher, dan/rachel, rachel/hotunclecooper, need i say more??) and lame grubbs/miranda (does anyone actually care about this couple??) pairing. like i care that they’re getting married? like i care if grubbs’ record gets made or miranda gets departed or the two of them fall into the same black hole LP did?…ay yi yi.
if we only have three episodes left EVER, i seriously hope they up the brooke/julian/nathan/haley time. but obviously we’ve got a ways to go with the skills/mouth/deb and quinn/clay/psycho katie-sara wannabe. wish i could say i was excited for these last episodes but the previews just make me wanna go back and watch old episodes.
accelerated kid or not, lord of the flies is dark stuff and it is wildy inappropriate for someone that age. they may love dark, scary, twisted stuff, doesn’t mean they should be reading it. and it is not bedtime reading either. just did not fit to me i guess. maybe them nonchalantly saying they felt bad for piggy. yeah i would too. he had his head bashed in with a rock by the other boys. wonder if they felt bad for the pilot too.

the breakfast in bed thingy with brooke and julian was cute… almost reminded me of a season 3 episode when brooke calls lucas boyfriend…. ( was a brucas shipper then )
the psycho story line is a major YAWN fest.. quinn and clay are okay together but just keep them on the side, i dont see the need for them to have a story with psycho dead wife lookalike. the lookalike is getting more screen time than our favourite characters!
i love Victoria.. she is amazingly hilarious, i loved it when brooke said victoria was sexually harassing alexander when she caught them- him in underpants and victoria fully dressed… Victoria is so capable of doing it and also making it look funny…
mouth/lauren/skills/millie/owen – honestly i think mouth and lauren have a great potential for couple.. they are cute together .i used to be a mouth millie shipper but now they have ruined millie’s character with the whole modeling drug abuse kinda stuff… also owen and millie are better as a couple they could probably deal with and get over the drug and alcohol stuff together and bond well…
skills is boring.. sorry about that but he has never been my fav character and now its just bleah when it comes to him so i dont want him with lauren or deb or any one just send him far far away..
although KISS scene was boring… the bond between nathan and jamie was sweet.. but honestly the lord of flies! really? nathan please read age appropriate stuff to your son!
i dont believe haley is preggers for now. because i dont think she would not have the child and lie to nathan for several reasons
1. haley is not that kind of person. she waited to tell nathan in highschool because she was young and worried now she is older and well supported so that wouldnt be the case.
2. remember lydia saying haley should have more children? it was her mom’s wish so haley wouldnt disrespect it especially since she loves her mom so much.
3. i think haley is in grief and dealing with lydia’s passing and maybe thats why that look on her face.
that apart haley’s hurting seems a bit overplayed to me. joy is a wonderful actress and has done a great job but viewers never saw lydia and haley upclose like ever…. how do u expect us to just believe stuff now?
honestly? miranda and grubbs and marriage? i mean it takes forever for julian and brooke to work out as a couple but miranda and grubbs can do it in 3 episodes… writers need to concentrate on brulian and not mrubbs or giranda or whatever the hell they are….

i dont have a problem w/ chase being back…in fact, i think they should use chase as the model of how to bring back a secondary character in a nonintrusive, nonobnoxious way. he was there, we can be glad to see him, but he doesn’t take up screentime we’d rather see go to the characters who have kept us coming back for years. now why cant they do that with clay, quinn, victoria, katie/sarah, lauren, alex the female, alex the male, miranda, grubbs, josh, victoria, etc, etc, etc, etc
