I’m ecstatic to make a huge announcement today. When I first started this site, it was going to be with my sister but due to both professional and personal reasons she was never able to contribute. Basically with the help of a few key people (Denise, Natalya, Kaitlin, Elizabeth, love you!) and all the wonderful comments and tips from readers, I’ve been doing this thing on my own since December of 2007.
I can’t even describe how happy I’ve been to see the site grow like it has. I take this site very, very personally and I’ve said it more than once that it’s my baby. I’ve gone on to create other sites but none have meant more to me. I have loved this show since the first time I watched the Pilot in the summer of 2007 (yes, I was a late bloomer!) and I will watch every second of it I can. I still love these characters and Tree Hill.
However, I have finally decided to bring on a co-owner to this site. But picking someone to put at owner status was a very personal and conscious choice. First and foremost I needed someone else who loves One Tree Hill like me. They needed to be trustworthy, hardworking and dedicated. And of course, familiar with blogging.
I have all this and more in my friend Amanda. Amanda and I met online through this site and have since met twice in real life. She is excited to jump in with both feet. I have always said I would continue the blog after the show ends to keep up with all our favorite cast from the show and continue to have OTH related fun. She has that same vision and plans to help carry it out. I’m so excited for this chapter of the blog to start! Bring on Season GR8!

I’ve been a fan of the show since it started here in our country. I usually had the hardest time figuring out how to get some scoop about the show and the cast since I live so far away from the US. I was then in high school.
In my third year of college, that was when I discovered your site. I thought it was awesome. Surfing the net usually isn’t complete without checking out your blog. Congratulations for a job well done!!!

I have loved the show from the beginning too, I am so obsessed with the show that half my room is covered in One Tree Hill stuff. I have to say this is the BEST site for One Tree Hill info. You have done an AWESOME job. Keep up the good work =]

Ok, I DID contribute SOMETHING, I know I did…I don’t know what..but….
No but seriously, I”m really proud of you Amy, this site is amazing and I know the fans on the site don’t get to see you do your thing in real life and I’ve had that priviledge and let me tell you I’ve never seen anyone so passionate about their work. I know the days when you’ve been spammed with “hate” messages about what one person typed and how personal you take that. The excitement when you get to share some spoiler that you’ve found. The time spent on trying to figure out layouts, pictures, colors, content, ads and even the stuff that I refuse to even learn b/c it’s just overwhelming. You did it. I’m proud of you for being my sister, for being an awesome blogger, and more importantly a Godly woman who listens to God when He tells you to hand the reins over so you can focus on your family, work and whatever else there is, even when you’re walking away from something that means so much to you. Ok I know that was really wordy but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tell you how proud I am and that I love you.

Thank you. Your adventure is just beginning and I wish you the best of luck!!! You’ve got a great teacher and fans supporting you.

That’s great. I have been a fan of the show since it aired in 2005. I just happen to have the day off of work the day it had it’s first premiere and I watch it not knowing what it was…and I loved it….. I have tried to schedule work and school around it when ever I could… now i own all 7 season on dvd.
You have done a great job with the site. I’m sure the both of you will continue the great work.
wait I think it aired in 2002 or 2003 I don’t remember. I’d have to check on that.
You wasn’t a late bloomer at all. I started watching One tree hill just this past May.. I’m a late bloomer.
