OTHMIOBIFreak: OTH scoop please, After CMM and Barbara Alyn Woods returning, any chance Ashley Rickards that played Sam in s6 might too?
When we chatted with the Awkward. star, she told us:”I would definitely be open to coming back for some sort of closure for Sam, absolutely. It would be wonderful to go back there because I kept in touch with everybody. I talked to Hilary [Burton] about a week ago.” But has she been approached to return to Tree Hill? “I’m still waiting on my contract for Avatar 4,” she jokes, “So we’ll see.”
Cathy: One Tree Hill’s final season is going to be epic! Any scoop?
Now that Chad Michael Murray is coming back, season nine is indeed going to be epic. According to Tyler Hilton, creator Mark Schwahn is going all out. “One of the reasons why I am such a fan of this last season is because Mark said that last season he thought it might be the last season, so he ended it the way fans wanted it to end,” he tells us. “This season he knows it is going to be the last season, and since he already kind of gave the fans their season last time, he said that he really wants to make this season what he wants. He said that since the show is done after this season, he has no one to impress, he can just do whatever he wants.” Mark Schwahn writing without anyone holding him back? OTH’s final season is going to be cray-cray!

I’m gonna miss this show.
Mark Schwahn gave the fans what they wanted last season!?!?! I for one didnt want Chuck shoved down my throat. I also wasnt interested in Quinn, Alex, or Chase (I dont mind Clay). And I didnt want to see Jamie and his girl issues with Madison.
As a FAN, I wanted to see Brooke pregnant and not have it played out in one episode. I wanted to see Nathan and Haley get prepared for the birth of their daughter. I would have liked to see Nathan repair his relationship with Dan.
AGREED bturner. Mark is delusional if he thinks season 8 was “what fans wanted” LOLOL
I like Clay and Chase (if only he had a better storyline) but get rid of Quinn and Alex!!!
Mark can freak all you want from this season will be epic and of course Nathan does not die, the killer could kill Dan.

Yeah this news annoys me because honestly S8 was such a ripoff in terms of Leyton not being at Brooke’s wedding and Brooke only getting a good two or three episodes of being pregnant and whatnot, but if they just bring back Lucas and not Peyton I will be so annoyed…
Bwahahahaha is Mark S for real?I did’nt want s8 it was a joke compared to the other seasons.I did’nt want chase,chuck and alex and quinn and clay nudity.Oh please it could have been better mark slacked off he thought he could get a whole s9 and probably until s10.If he made s8 great we could have a whole series end.
If Mark truly is going “all out” then Hilarie would be returning! Also, it would be nice to see a return of Sam but there does not appear to be a reason for that which is a shame. Anyway, I will not be considering this season all out unless Hilarie is back! Sorry folks!!!
@margarita: I totally agree with you! i am not a fan of all the unnecessary characters and their storylines taking up screentime. Mark wants to give us a season to remember? If so, he needs to go in the direction of having this last season focus on original OTH characters!

AHHH i have to agree with those who thought “how the hell did mark appease OTH fans by piiling on the CHUCK?” what the ffffffffffffffffffffffffffff was with all those scenes?!?@?!?!?GHRA?!?!?THQT??!!
seriously….if mark wants to appease fans in ANY fashion, BRING LP +babyS back. anyone else doesn’t count for SH*T…maybe skillis or mouth or deb or DAN but still…i just hope that by the series finale, he realizes who and what is important. seriously, no matter who you hope for and don’t for, the final scenes should include the core 5 plus characters like dan, deb, karen, whitey, etc. anything else would be a TRAVESTY! i realize nothing can compare to the s4 finale, but i cannot help but wish for that level of quality.
I would love to see Sam on the show again.
