One Tree Hill Who’s excited about tomorrow’s premiere? Discover where the season is headed with Mark Schwahn.

HollywoodLife.com took a trip to Tree Hill, and it sounds like the show’s ninth season might just be its craziest yet!

Well, kids, the day we’ve looked forward to — and also dreaded — is almost here. The final season of One Tree Hill premieres at 8 p.m. tomorrow (Jan. 11) on The CW, and I was fortunate enough to be on the show’s Wilmington, N.C., set to get the scoop straight from the stars! Bethany Joy Galeotti sums the whole thing up pretty nicely (“near death experiences, jealousy, psychotic breakdowns, post-traumatic stress”), but let’s see what the other residents of Tree Hill have to say about what they’ll be up to during the show’s final run.

Sierra in San Luis Obispo, Calif: Is there going to be any more competition with Mia (Kate Voegele) and Alex (Jana Kramer) on One Tree Hill, or is Chase Alex’s man for good?

Before you reach for your “Team Mia/Alex” T-shirts from the back of the closest, we’ve got to admit: you won’t be needing them! We just chatted with Stephen Colletti and he revealed to us that Voegele is will not be in any of the final 13 episodes. “She does not come back, you’ll not be seeing her. She’s not in the season at all this year.” Looks like Mia stands for MIA…

We want to know that, too! And that’s why we took that very question to creator Mark Schwahn while we chatted about the final season. And we’re going to get a lot more than crying when One Tree Hill premieres Jan. 11. “I think that this season has a little more suspense. I think it has a little more testosterone and a little more darkness to it,” Schwahn tells us. “But there are plenty of opportunities to cry for whoever wants to cry with the show!” Oh, geez. We knew it. We’re just not ready for the pain!

When Cathrine Jakobsen made the 24-hour trek from Norway to Wilmington to get a glimpse of the inner workings of “One Tree Hill,” she knew it would be a trip to remember. What she didn’t anticipate were the long-term friendships that would form while she was here.

“My visit was amazing. I made some great friends that I know I’ll always have with me,” said Jakobsen, 22, who lives in Oslo and has followed the show since its third season. “I still talk to them almost every day through Facebook.”

Jakobsen is one of thousands of members of the “One Tree Hill family,” a close-knit group of fans who connect daily through social networking sites, exchanging messages of love, support and friendship.

On Twitter, users end their messages with the hashtag “#OTHfamily” and consider themselves close friends, but most don’t live in the same cities and have never met in person.

They’re united solely by their love for “the little show that could,” which this year will end its nine-season run. Members of the fan family have pledged to weather the loss of the show by uniting in cyberspace to celebrate their ongoing friendship.

“I am so grateful (to) be a part of this family,” read one recent tweet. “These next few months are going to be hard, but so glad I have (you) all!”

“Jane By Design” co-star and former “One Tree Hill” actress India de Beaufort joined other actors and musicians Saturday night in Hollywood celebrating true beauty. She was among the special guests at the first anniversary party of Team True Beauty, a nonprofit promoting positive self-esteem and self-worth in men and women of all ages.

She played tough music executive Miranda Stone during “One Tree Hill’s” sixth season and just started a run as antagonistic fashion designer India Jourdain on the ABC Family series “Jane by Design.”

Before the Team True Beauty event, I spoke with her about the organization, her time in Wilmington filming “One Tree Hill,” and her new villainous turn on “Jane.”

What were your impressions of Wilmington during your nine months there filming “One Tree Hill”?

I have very fond memories. The ocean there is the warmest I’ve ever been in. The first time I ever went down to the beach I was fully clothed. And I stepped in and I just kept walking because I was so shocked about how nice it was. Kilwin’s — gotta love that. I went for the toffee flavored popcorn. That was my thing. I used to just sit in my hotel room (at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside) and down bags of it.
