Jensen Ackles and his longtime girlfriend Danneel Harris are engaged, her rep confirms exclusively to JustJared.com.The 31-year-old Supernatural actor and 30-year-old One Tree Hill actress have been dating for about three years but have been friends for nearly a decade. The couple, who are longtime members of the WB/CW family, co-starred in the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero.Danneel showed off her beautiful engagement ring on Saturday at the Breeders’ Cup in Los Angeles.Congrats to the happy couple!UPDATE: Danneel confirmed the good news herself on her Twitter account. Supernatural stud Jensen Ackles and his girlfriend, One Tree Hill actress Danneel Harris, come out to watch the horses race at the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Santa Anita Park on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles.

Jensen, 31, and Dannell, 30, were accompanied by Star Trek star John Cho and his Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay co-star Rachael Harris. Also in attendance: Grey’s Anatomy actor Justin Chambers and Nip/Tuck’s Julian McMahon (not pictured).

Ausiello: It’s official: ‘One Tree Hill’ troublemaker returns!

A One Tree Hill rep is now confirming what I first hinted at in Ask Ausiello: The bitch is back!

Danneel Harris has closed a deal to reprise her role as pot-stirrer Rachel Gatina in at least seven episodes next season, beginning with eppy 7.02.

Harris made her Tree Hill debut as Brooke’s high school nemesis in season 3 but wasn’t made a series regular until season 4. She was written out in season 5 after only a handful of episodes, an apparent victim of the show’s four-year flash forward.

In other Tree Hill news, the last of next season’s new contract roles has gone to Nuevo 90210 grad Jana Kramer. She’ll play Alexis, a model that becomes the new face of Brooke’s clothing line. As previously reported, Lipstick Jungle’s Robert Buckley and relative newcomer Shantel VanSanten are also joining the cast as Nathan’s sports agent and Haley’s sister

Danneel Harris may have grown up going to church in small-town Louisiana, but she’s far more Bourbon Street than Southern belle. She’s the type of girl who moves to L.A. with no intention of acting and then picks up the skill because she thought the fast-and-furious lifestyle would suit her.

She first made her mark as a hell-raiser on the hit TV show “One Tree Hill,” and after heating up “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay,” she’s once again making the big screen sizzle.

This month Danneel plays a cheerleader trying to get her hands on a teammate’s pompoms in “Fired Up,” followed by a role as a girlfriend gone wild in this summer’s “Mardi Gras.” Get ready for Hurricane Danneel!

How did you get along with Hayley Marie Norman, the actress who plays the object of your affection in “Fired Up?”

The first time we met, it was like, “Oh, hi. Guess we’re going to be, like, the lesbian couple.” Neither of us had played that kind of role before. I know how to handle a guy costar; you just say, “Hi, how are you? Are you going to brush your teeth before the kissing scene?” But with a girl it’s like, “Uh, I like your shirt.” Awkward. But now we’re really good friends.

Well, there’s nothing like simulated lesbianism to really cement a friendship.

It’s true. It bonds you quicker than anything.

My friend was in Wilmington today and she spotted Danneel Harris who portrays Rachel Gattina. She was on the set of One Tree Hill coming out of hair and make up. I don’t know if Rachel is returning to Tree Hill or its just Danneel Harris visiting her friends on set.

Ten Inch Hero UK Screening

A UK screening of the film Ten Inch Hero which has Danneel Harris and Elizabeth Harnois in it, and many other great stars including Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, and Bethany Joy’s music is featured in the film too.

The details are:
date: Saturday 6th September 2008
time: two screenings at 12pm or 3pm
place: Odeon Cinema, Kingston Upon Thames (just outside London)
tickets: £25 each
David Mackay, the director, will be doing a Q&A after the screenings.

Ten Inch Hero Screening in London

A screening of Ten Inch Hero, featuring OTH stars Danneel Harris and Elizabeth Harnois and songs by Bethany Joy Galeotti, will be at the Odeon Cinema in Kingston Upon Thames (about 30 mins by train from Waterloo) on Saturday September 6.

Two screenings are planned; one at noon and another at 3pm. If you want to attend, plan to arrive early, as they cannot delay the start.

They must sell 300 tickets to make this happen.
